Buses from Ryde Esplanade to Havenstreet
Island Line trains between Ryde and Shanklin are suspended until later in the Summer 2021 whilst upgrade work takes place. Therefore there are no Island Line trains to Smallbrook Junction.
During this period a connecting bus will operate between Ryde Esplanade bus station and our station at Havenstreet offering a direct connection for mainland visitors. Buses run every day when trains are operating at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway.
Buses depart Ryde Esplanade at 10:00, then every hour until 16:00
Buses depart Havenstreet station at 10:30, then every hour until 16:30
Journey time is 20-25 minutes depending on traffic
Tickets: You’ll need a train ticket to Smallbrook Junction – these can be bought from the ticket office at Ryde Esplanade. £2.70 single or £3.00 return.
