At the end of the line is Wootton station. A quaint country terminus station that has been recreated in an Edwardian style. There’s a small on-site car park, waiting room, ticket office and toilets. During sunnier days make the most of the picnic area or take a walk to the country pub. For a longer walk take the route of the former railway line towards Whippingham station.
PLEASE NOTE: the path down from the car park to the platform is quite steep. It is an unmade pathway and can be slippery underfoot. We recommend that wheelchair users and those with specific mobility requirements head to Havenstreet station where the ground is flat and guards are on hand to assist you embarking and disembarking the trains.
Wootton station is easily reached by the number 9 bus (via Staplers) from either Ryde Esplanade or Newport. See the Southern Vectis website for further information.
