Beer & Steam – Free entry
Head to our Autumn beer festival for a celebration of beer and steam.
Choose from a huge selection of real ales, there are even a few ciders for those with a sweeter tooth. You’ll have the opportunity to try local brews from Yates’, Goddards and Island Brewery alongside ales from Yorkshire, Somerset and more.

Entry to the festival is FREE; the bar opens from 11am until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. If you wish to board the steam train, usual operating day fares apply.
Travel to the festival:Â leave the car at home and travel on Island Line from Ryde, Brading, Sandown or Shanklin, connecting with steam trains at Smallbrook Junction. Alternatively, there are regular buses to Wootton station from Ryde and Newport, with onward connections to the rest of the Island.

3rd class tickets offer unlimited journeys on the line. Book online for the best value. 1st class tickets are also available.
Wootton / Smallbrook – Havenstreet return tickets – For this event, return tickets between Wootton or Smallbrook and Havenstreet are available – £10 per adult. These tickets are ideal if you are arriving by bus at Wootton station or Island Line Train into Smallbrook and want to travel to the Festival at Havenstreet – on sale from the booking office at Wootton and Smallbrook only.
Free admission to Havenstreet station and the Beer & Steam festival.

Direct Bus Service to Havenstreet Station
- Connect Newport and Ryde via Havenstreet and Haylands.
- Run 7 days a week, 364 days a year.
- Operate 3 return journeys on Monday to Friday schooldays.
- Operate 5 return journeys at weekends, in school holidays and on public holidays, thanks to support from the Isle of Wight Steam Railway.
