After the indulgence of the festive season enjoy a relaxing train journey through the stunning Isle of Wight countryside. Settle back in a cosy carriage as you take in the ten-mile round trip while contemplating those New Year’s resolutions.
Stretch your legs by taking the train to Wootton to enjoy a country walk, or visit to the pub. Our Station Restaurant, Barn Cafe, Railway Shop and Museum Gallery will all be open at Havenstreet station.
Railway 200 - New Year Whistle Event
Join us on New Years Day to mark the start of 'Railway 200' - a celebration of 200 years since the start of Train Travel.
At 12 noon we are joining other heritage railways across the U.K. to kick-off Railway 200 with an evocative ‘Whistle-Off’ of vintage locomotives.
