This October, the Isle of Wight Steam Railway is going all out for Halloween!
For half term, Havenstreet will be transformed into a spooky steam railway, packed with witches, wizards, magic, creepy characters and plenty of Halloween surprises.
And the best bit?

ENTRY TO THE HALLOWEEN FUN IS COMPLETELY FREE!
Come along, explore the spooky railway, enjoy live entertainment, get creative and soak up the Halloween atmosphere.
But there’s one experience you absolutely won’t want to miss…

ALL ABOARD THE HALLOWEEN EXPRESS! THE SCARIEST TRAIN RIDE OF THE YEAR!

 

Climb aboard if you dare and set off through the Isle of Wight countryside, where Halloween surprises await around every corner…
Keep your eyes peeled as you travel through the countryside and look out for our spooky Halloween displays along the route.
Can you spot them all?

Goody bags are included for children within your ticket prices, containing a Halloween activity sheet, keep count of the spooky sights you discover and enter for your chance to WIN A FAMILY RETURN TICKET to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway!

And that’s not all…THE TRAIN ITSELF HAS HAD A HALLOWEEN MAKEOVER!
Our heritage carriages will be dressed for the occasion, with spooky surprises waiting for you along the way.
Both ends of the railway will be getting into the Halloween spirit, so the adventure begins as soon as you arrive.

THE GREAT HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN PATCH

Choose your perfect pumpkin! Our huge pumpkin patch field is a must visit! Grab your very own wheelbarrow and head out into the pumpkin field to find the perfect pumpkin. Whether you’re looking for a tiny pumpkin for your bedroom window or the biggest, most magnificent pumpkin you can find… THE CHOICE IS YOURS!

Pumpkins are priced according to size. Once you’ve found your perfect pumpkin, bring it along to our FREE pumpkin carving station, where you can get creative and turn it into your very own Halloween masterpiece.

FREE PUMPKIN CARVING! We’ve got the decorations and carving materials covered, so all you need to bring is your imagination!
Pick it. Carve it. Decorate it. Take it home!

CIRCUS SKILL WORKSHOPS Fancy yourself as a circus performer? Have a go at juggling, balancing and mastering some amazing circus skills in our fun, family-friendly workshops.

POTION MAKING Mix, bubble and brew your very own magical concoction!

HUGE BUBBLE DISPLAYS Prepare to be mesmerised by spectacular giant bubbles!

SCARY STILT WALKERS Look up! Our spooky stilt-walking characters will be roaming the site, surprising visitors and adding a seriously creepy atmosphere to your Halloween adventure

GET CREATIVE IN THE CRAFT MARQUEE Fancy making something spooky to take home? Head to our craft marquee and get stuck into a whole host of Halloween creations.

MAKE YOUR OWN: WITCHES’ BROOMSTICK Create your very own magical mode of transport.

SPOOKY CAKE CREATION Decorate your own spooky cake creation and make something almost too good to eat!

While entry to the Halloween activities and entertainment at Havenstreet is completely free, the heritage train journey is a separate ticketed experience.
