Why not travel to us by Island Line train, using our convenient cross-platform interchange at Smallbrook Junction. We’ve suggested some recommended itineraries below:

Smallbrook-Station
TRAVELLING FROM SHANKLIN, LAKE, SANDOWN OR BRADING
  • Depart Shanklin 10:15, Lake 10:18, Sandown 10:21 or Brading 10:26 and arrive Smallbrook Junction at 10:31. The steam train will be waiting in the adjacent platform for you (the 10:10 departure from Havenstreet).
  • or Depart Shanklin 11:15, Lake 11:18, Sandown 11:21 or Brading 11:26 and arrive Smallbrook Junction at 11:33. There’s a 15 minute wait for the next steam train (the 11:35 departure from Havenstreet).

Give yourself at least a couple of hours to explore Havenstreet station, visiting our Train Story Discovery Centre, see the free birds of prey display, and perhaps enjoy lunch in our cafe, before departing on one of the following trains:

  • 13:10 steam train, which connects with the 13:55 Island Line train to Shanklin.
  • 14:35 steam train, which connects with the 14:52 Island Line train to Shanklin
TRAVELLING FROM RYDE
  • Depart Ryde Pier Head at 09:45, Ryde Esplanade 09:47 or Ryde St John’s Road 09:51, arriving Smallbrook Junction at 09:54. Cross to the adjacent platform and wait about 25 minutes for your steam train to arrive (the 10:10 departure from Havenstreet).
  • Depart Ryde Pier Head at 10:45, Ryde Esplanade 10:47 or Ryde St John’s Road 10:51, arriving Smallbrook Junction at 10:54. Cross to the adjacent platform and wait about 5 minutes for your steam train to arrive (the 10:50 departure from Havenstreet) – Red timetable only.
  • or Depart Ryde Pier Head at 11:45, Ryde Esplanade 11:47 or Ryde St John’s Road 11:51, arriving at Smallbrook Junction at 11:54. Cross to the adjacent platform where your steam train will be waiting (the 11:35 departure from Havenstreet).
