Following the announcement of a 4-week lockdown in England, please be advised of the following changes to our services:
The railway will be open as planned on Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th November, running our Green timetable. We continue to operate the railway in a Covid-safe way, with social distancing measures in place. Each household group will be allocated their own compartment. See further details HERE.
The railway will be closed from Thursday 5th November for the following 4-weeks. This means that our planned operating days on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th November have been cancelled. If you have booked for these days we will contact you this week with details of either a full refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another date.
We fully expect our Santa Specials and festive trains to go ahead as planned, and look forward to welcome our passengers to the railway when we reopen in December.
We’d like to thank everyone who has visited, volunteered or supported the railway during 2020. We’ve welcomed over 40,000 passengers during our truncated season. We look forward with confidence to our festive services, and then celebrating the railway’s 50th anniversary in 2021. Thank you again for your ongoing support.
